Exquisite Antique Inspired Ivory Embroidered Tulle Lace Dress and Slip - New w Tags - 90's/Y2K - Romantic Wedding or Garden Party Dress

A beautifully made lace over dress with exquisite embroidery throughout the bodice and long lace skirt plus a matching full underslip---the antique-style details on this are absolutely gorgeous! Sheer ivory tulle lace with embroidered floral designs scattered over the raised-waist bodice and a full, gorgeous embroidered lace skirt with a lace ruffle at the hem, this beauty is SO perfect for a vintage themed wedding or other event--and it is NEW-old-stock with tags (the price on the main tag reads "999.00")! Raised-waist style that buttons all the way down the front; has a separate full slip of soft ivory jersey. Beautifully made with lovely fine rayon-embroidered net lace and fine details such as tabs with snaps inside each shoulder to keep the slip in place. Such an exquisite dress and also very comfortable to wear; this would be a PERFECT wedding, tea or garden party gown or to wear to an event like the Gatsby Summer Afternoon. Would also look gorgeous with the lace overdress worn over other different colored slips, to highlight the pattern of the lace. Marked L on the tags, but please check measurements listed below.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. There is NO SMOKING whatsoever in this establishment and never has been. Everything is very diligently inspected before it is shipped to you, carefully wrapped in new tissue, and I only ship in NEW USPS boxes, NOT flimsy bags or crammed into careless packaging (which seems to be widespread nowadays but I really hate to see when I'm the recipient!) I respect clothing and I ship it the way I would want it shipped to me.

Measurements (marked a size L on the tags)
Bust measures 38" unstretched and stretches to 40"; waist is also 38" but does not stretch more than that. Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36); it fits the mannequin as shown with room to spare, in fact I would say the mannequin is too thin for the dress. I think best for an 8 to 10, wearer's measurements should be at least 1" smaller than what is stated here.

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, it is new with all tags. It has been in a closed closet for at least 15-20 years so I would suggest a light cleaning just so there is no storage scent; otherwise there are no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, Just gorgeous! Designer's tags from "Cream", has a price tag of 999.00!
