SUCH a pretty fall print vintage rayon gauze 1990's raise-waistline dress with a definite antique feeling, this is such a charming dress for any fall event, wedding, Art Deco party, etc.-- especially with the exquisite coordinating green handmade hat (not included--please check my other listings) Gorgeous deep muted burgundy and wine roses, green and gold on a black background, vintage-style print on lovely sheer rayon gauze. Easy fit with buttons all the way down the front, a very full gathered skirt and long roomy sleeves. This is sheer and needs to be worn over a slip (not included) or leave it open over layered separates, like a duster! I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Though marked a vintage S, please go by the measurements below.
Wearer's actual body measurements should be at least 1-2" smaller than the max stated:
Bust: stretches to about 38"
Waist: stretches to 34" max
Length is 47" from shoulder to hem, but will fit and hang properly/higher on a real human rather than this mannequin. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6; I feel this dress fits that size well with a little room to spare, probably would work for an 8 also.
Condition: Vintage very good condition, the only issues that I note are: missing one small button at the very bottom front and has very slight wear in a couple of small areas around the neckline, neither of which affects the appearance; otherwise is clean, fresh and ready to wear. Nostalgia label.
