Lovely Vintage 1980s BILA Garden Party Tea Dress - Periwinkle Purple and Pink- Soft Woven Rayon - Dropped Waist - Fabulous Vivid Print

Gorgeous print! Lovely and very collectible vintage rayon 1980's Bila dress--I have a very large personal collection of vintage Bila dresses of this type because they're simply WONDERFUL to wear in warmer months, plus the fabrics, details and colors are just so appealing! A beautiful vintage dress for any summertime event--garden party, wedding, or vintage event. Fabulous vivid print of periwinkle blue, violet, purple, navy and pink on soft woven rayon. Full gathered dropped waist skirt, bodice with short sleeves, and button front top to bottom. So flattering and so easy to wear! Marked a vintage size M but I think is more of an S, please check measurements below. Excellent condition other than two very tiny cross-shaped thread pulls on the bodice which are NOT noticeable, but am mentioning/showing them anyway---see the two next-to-last photos for closeups.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Marked vintage M, please check measurements as this is more of an S, wearer's actual body measurements should be at least 1-2" smaller than the max stated:
Bust: dress pit to pit measures 38"
Regular waistline area is approx. 36"
Dropped waistline/high hip is 38"
Length is 48" from shoulder to hem. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8; I feel this dress is most suited to about a size 6/8 as it fits the mannequin perfectly.
Condition: Vintage excellent condition, no issues whatsoever that I can see other than two tiny thread pulls on the bodice (see the two next-to-last photos for closeups); freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Buttons all the way down the front, has vintage Bila label.
