Exquisite NWOT Vintage Ralph Lauren Green Label Couture 2pc Silk Chiffon Blouse and Double Layer Skirt - Garden Party Wedding

Absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS and new without tags 100% silk super-floaty chiffon, flowing, dreamy rich-bohemian button-front collared blouse and flared bias skirt couture ensemble by the one and only Ralph Lauren, in a truly breathtaking white satin-striped plaid crisp silk chiffon printed in soft pink and blue watercolor-look flowers. Just AMAZINGLY beautiful and the fabric is to die for---it's delicate but at the same time has a crisp, fresh hand and drapes so wonderfully well. Ralph Lauren is legendary for both his magnificent fabrics as well as meticulous, exquisite construction and design, and this ensemble illustrates those qualities to perfection! Both pieces are a larger size (missing size tags, please check measurements below) and both are vintage mint condition, never worn. The blouse is gorgeously tailored with numerous rows of tucks down the front, darts at the front and back to shape it to the body, and pearl buttons down the front; the short sleeves are even fully lined with silk organza. The skirt is cut on the bias and has two layers, both fluted and flaring at the bottom; has a side zipper and does not have a waistband. Super gorgeous---this would be perfect to wear to a summer wedding, tea or garden party, or to an event like the Gatsby Summer Afternoon! Versatile as well--you could wear either piece with other elements or wear a silk knit cardigan over all, for different looks.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Measurements of this wonderful set are as follows:

Bust measures 44" on the blouse; 36" at the waist, and is 24" long. This is meant to be loose fitting so I would not recommend any larger than a 38" bust measurement of the wearer.
Skirt: does not have a waistband, measures 30" at waist, hips measure 40". Wearer's measurement should be at least 2 inches smaller than these!
Skirt length from waist is approx. 33", keep in mind this may fall shorter on longer depending on the size of one's hips
The mannequin is a size 6 and is too small for this set, I would recommend this for a 10-12 and possibly up depending on one's measurements.

Condition: New without tags, no stains, spots or rips/holes, very clean and crisp, I cannot find any issues anywhere. Beautiful fabric! Green Ralph Lauren label on both pieces. No size tags.
