This incredible bag, entirely handmade by me, has a wonderful traditional Mexican/Dia de los Muertos theme with a super charming fabric of black with brilliantly multicolored sugar skulls and fiesta motifs, scattered all over with sparkling, glittering rainbow rhinestones. On the front I've handsewn a large portrait of Frida Kahlo, my favorite artist, framed in beautiful antique crochet lace and handmade colorful ribbonwork flowers. Hot pink piping outlines the heart shape of the front and back of the purse; has a substantial brass zipper; detachable custom made strap is a vivid iridescent hot pink glitter vinyl and features double sewn end reinforcements that are further secured with clamped-on brass filigree braces ornamented with a vintage turquoise fire opal glass brass-set oval cabochon on each. Antiqued brass hardware/detachable swivel clasps plus a fantastic double-dangle charm of Mexican "sugar skull" charms in hot pink, turquoise and ivory with a vintage turquoise glass cabochon as well.....has a lobster claw clasp so you can detach it and put it on the zipper pull, the bag hardware or even wear it as a separate pendant if you wish. All of the inner seams of the bag are covered and hand finished in black handsewn bias binding and it has coordinating lining in a turquoise dot pattern, as well as a deep inner pocket.

Perfect roomy size for all the essentials: measurements of this beauty are 12 1/2" across by approx 10" top to bottom, and 3" deep, a great size to hold all the necessities. Detachable vinyl strap is about 18" long. Fabulous gift for a special person or for yourself!
